The act of creating something of beauty or energy with your own hands is a magnificent experience.
I am drawn to working in bronze because of its enduring quality. In return for this opportunity there is an obligation to add value to our environment. What better way than to create a work in bronze that touches our emotions? I strive to capture energy and beauty in my sculptures.
I admire and I am inspired by the works of Auguste Rodin, Alexander Calder, Henry Moore, Frederic Remington, Benny Bufano, and the contemporary figurative work of Richard MacDonald.
I strive to make the complex simple, and allow the viewer to imagine and connect with the piece as they see it. As a foundation to my art, I believe in quality of craftsmanship consistent with the enduring quality of bronze.
