About Jack Storms

After earning a BA in Art from Plymouth State College (New Hampshire) in 2001, Jack Storms opened a west-coast production studio in California in 2002.

In early 2003 Jack turned his efforts to putting together his own studio-StormWorks Studio-- and released a new look to the cold -working glass world. He creates his work in his one-man studio in Monterey, CA. Using diachroic, lead crystal and BK-7 glass as his main materials, each piece is made by hand without the aide of the major industrial machinery used in other cold-working studios. Because of the care and precision put into the creation of individual pieces, they can take up to six weeks to produce.

Jack's work is sought after by discriminating collectors and has been juried into both the 2001 and 2002 BAGI auctions and the 2002 Pichuck auctions.
