Krystyna
(Polish b. 1961)
Born in Poland, exposed from early childhood to classical music, fine art, and traditional architecture, Krystyna was drawn to pursue a life of culture. Her deep appreciation of things beautiful gave her a desire to create beautiful things.

As a young woman she studied art at university in Wroclow and Krakow. Her studies in Poland gave her foundation in the methods and techniques of traditional artistes. To this day her works shows no trace of the shortcuts in materials artist that are all too common.

After moving to America in 1985, Krystyna continued to study her craft and expand her technique. She met and studied with Italian born artist, Roberto Lupetti, visited museums and art galleries, and even worked as a commercial artist for a time.
In addition to creation and selling works of her own, she also works as a restorer, returning to beauty paintings damaged by accident or neglect. In this work, just as in her own art, she takes no shortcuts. Her restorations are painstaking, meticulous and thorough.

Krystyna is best known for her exquisitely detailed still lifes, meticulous portraits if fine china, beautiful glass and antique porcelain. In each painting you find the love and skill of one artist commemorated of music and angels, as well as traditional still lifes of fruit and flowers.

Discipline and attention to the detail are obvious when you look at a Krystyna’s painting. Such hard work combined with her appreciation and love of art cannot help but insure a fine filled with success for Krystyna and a genuine contribution to art.
